This is going to be bullets because my brain has practically stopped.
- My spring break from classes has officially started. I'm working crazy hours at the agency though, so don't be getting all jealous.
- Despite being super busy, I squeezed in 2 workouts and am running 4 miles Friday afternoon with a good friend of mine. I'm pretty proud of myself!
- Sidenote: I even bought a small fanny pack type thing (my friend called it a SPIBELT?) to put my keys and phone in. Does this make me legit?
- I have to give kudos to a couple of girls going through my program that are going to Belize for spring break to do a week long study abroad. They have been busting tail to get things done and ready for these kids down there and I'm so excited for them both.
- I'm no longer counting calories (gasp!) I've switched over to points and am following Weight Watchers points plus program. Counting calories was getting me nowhere, literally. I was just maintaining and that's not what I want. When I was just counting calories I think I was eating the wrong calories.
- Another sidenote: I'm not joining Weight Watchers, because I can't really spend the money. I'm just following the program to see if I get any results. If I like it I will consider joining.
- I set a goal for myself to work 60 hours at the agency. I am blowing that go out of the water and should break 100 hours for this month! Crazy!
- Sidenote #3: I'm only getting in half of the subbing days that I had hoped to get, so this still evens out.
- I started Lolita the other night, and man oh man... creeper! Why are we reading a book about pedophiles again? (In all fairness, his writing is beyond amazing).
- No, I will not be celebrating St. Patty's Day this weekend (I know, such a party pooper) and instead I will be working. I'm not a huge fan of the holiday anyway. Plus, I'm kind of over getting wasted and stumbling from bar to bar. I'm much happier sitting on a patio sipping a few cold ones with a small group of friends.
- 4th sidenote: Which, sitting on a patio sipping a few cold ones is exactly what I will be doing Friday afternoon after running. :)

Sounds like you will have a busy spring break! But at least you won't have to come home to homework assignments. :) That should help a bit. Just having a break from class was always great when I was in grad school. I never had a grad school 'spring break' experience since i was working full time.
I'm not celebrating St Paddy's day and don't know that I have ever, honestly! I am racking my brain but can't come up with any memories of St. Patrick's Day! I'll be studying most of the day and then doing a girls night in with 2 good friends (and we are having mexican, so totally ignoring St Patrick's Day!)
No I never celebrate those party party days really (Halloween, St Patty's Day etc). It will be a normal ole' weekend for me!
Good luck with the run! I love my spibelt!
I could go on and on about how much I love weight watchers and why, but I will spare you the details and just say that I hope it works as well for you as it did for me! No celebrations here except for a possible drink at home with the hubs.
Saturday will be... Saturday. No crazy parties or drinking for this boring girl. I don't understand people's needs to get totally wasted on these holidays but whatever. To each their own!
Yay for WW! I'm not ON the program, but still following it since I feel like points work so much better for me than counting calories. They give you such a better picture of how healthy/unhealthy a food is. Once I finish up all my vacationing/traveling this summer, I may go back. I just can't afford it right now.
Your last bullet is funny, as it shows your (our) age! Welcome to the club! No more going out and getting wasted when there are small groups and actual conversations to be had!
I am flying home on St. Pats and will probably do nothing that night! Maybe I will unpack and take a shower and then...do more nothing! It will be great!
I find it so funny that americans call what we call "bum bags" "fanny packs" especially since fanny means something different over here, haha.
I'm not celebrating St Paddy's day this year. I usually do to some extent, since I have an Irish catholic background... but I try to remember I'm scottish first and foremost and considering i don't celebrate my national saints day, I shouldn't really celebrate St Paddy's. It doesn't usually stop me though (any excuse to get drunk) and, if I'm honest, the main reason I'm NOT celebrating this year is because I'm going out for a friend's birthday tomorrow night.
Okay so it's the evening of St. Patrick's Day and I'm sitting on my couch wanting to just go to sleep. At 8:30 PM. Ha! In my defense, I got crap sleep and went to a morning wedding that turned into an almost all-day affair. I'll have a glass of wine and call it a night - I'm over that bar phase of my life too!
I had a fabulous weekend! Went out with friends last night and the weather was amaaaaaazing. We spent the wholetime patio drinking in March! wooo
It sounds like you've been one busy lady during spring break!
Hmm, do you know Jayme? She goes to Drake & is going to Belize, she is my best friend, we met through blogging too!
^ lol to Meghan's comment. I love how that got us talking a lot. :D But Belize was awesome. I still have that blog up too and I've connected it to my new one! Yay.
