The Biggest Loser!

So, I have decided to start a A Biggest Loser contest at work. I'm only doing it with my management team since we always seem to be dieting anyway. It's hard to stay motivated when you work in the mall and have pretzels, orange juliuses and pizza available to you just down the hall. Ugh!

Here is how I *think* it's going to go. The contest will be 16 weeks long and will last until the end of the year. Our weeks will start on Sunday and end on Saturday. Each contestant will be required to weigh in at the beginning of each week and pay $5. At the end of the contest the contestant that loses the most weight will win the pot! If I get my entire management team on board the pot will be at $320!

I'm really excited about it, and so far one of my assistants is too! The other two seem a little hesitant. One of them is a sophomore in college and the other is so competitive she's worried she would starve herself to win. (totally lame, I know).

Hopefully, they realize how amazing this program is and they jump on our dieting bandwagon! I know I need a little help during the holidays and winter months to continue eating healthily. Otherwise I just put on 10 lbs each year with my winter coat. It's beginning to catch up with me and get out of control!

What do you do during the colder months to stay motivated? Have you ever participated in a program like this with co-workers?

I think that's a great way to lose weight because you'll be able to support each other. The winter can be tough with the holidays. I usually just pass on all the desserts

That's such a great idea. My brother's workplace is also doing this. Good luck! I hope you win, that would be a nice little reward at the end, esp around the holidays when cash is so needed!

Good luck to you and your coworkers. Healthy competition is always good. What sort of meal plan will you follow?
