Thank goodness I do not have to go back in until Thursday at 1pm. I plan on spending the majority of my day and a half off poolside with Jennifer Weiner and Sophie Kinsella.
Ha! I wish, I will actually be spending a significant amount of time with Jennifer's book Best Friends Forever (unless I finish it tonight...) and Sophie's book Twenties Girl.
Did I have you fooled? Did you think I was important enough to spend a day with Sophie and Jennifer? No? Yeah, I didn't think so. ;)
If I was actually spending a day with either women I would pick their brain with so many questions they would be begging me to shut up! Haha!
If you could spend a day with these two well known authors what would you do? What questions would you ask them?
Enjoy your relaxing day!
ReplyDeleteI don't even know what I would ask those authors. I think I would just be curious to see if they are as witty & charming in real life as they are when penning books!
I just requested the Jennifer Weiner book from the library - hopefully it doesn't take forever and a day for me to get it!
I'd love to meet Jennifer Weiner and since she lives in Philly, I feel like I should be able to find her (ridiculous notion on my part) but it would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy reading them! I loved Best Friends Forever
I haven't read any of their books. I'll have to add them to my read list!
ReplyDeleteLove Jennifer Weiner. It seems like she would be fun to hang out with, a real person.
ReplyDeleteTwenties Girl was surprisingly good! I wasn't sure I would like considering how much I love her Shopaholic series and this book was a big jump away from that series. It is super cute and makes you laugh out loud just like her other novels.
ReplyDeleteIf I had day with Sophia Kinsella I would want it to be in London and we could have tea. I would beg to be her assistant. :-)
I just finished Twenties Girl and I absolutely adored it! It was shockingly good! I couldn't put it down once I got about halfway through it!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a relaxing day. Love those! For me it would be Sera Beak who wrote The Red Book & maybe Anne Rice. She isn't one of my faves but I find her fascinating.
